2026

A new start!

6 years ago I set my paint brushes down because I was painting solitary floating heads, precise in their external rendering,  but ultimately internally directionless. Blah! Humbolt! Loved the paintings! hated the mindset.

The Limitations of Dialectics

“Philosophers can’t tell us what Socrates looked really looked like. But as an artist, I’m telling you, that’s Playdoh”.

I thought, if aimless wandering is your only subject, why not deepdive into  standup comedy? In the last three years, I’ve developed a killer 20 minutes of visual standup, and I’ve found a community of laugh addicts in Cleveland, Ohio who I care about, who I´ve learned from, and who should have taken up knitting instead.

Roast Frankie

Oil on canvas    25×30 $3500

Frankie´s a cool kid with Tourettes, a year on the mic, and a big heart. Here, he´s being roasted at Granpa´s Comedic Basement and Speakeasy (speakeasy cause Grandma´s sleeping upstairs). At Granpa´s there´s no sound system, so if you don´t bring your own mic, you pick a tool from the work room.

The Silence of the Frogs: Martin Malloy.

Schzophrenic AND HILARIOUS. Marty leapt from being the fat guy working at McDonalds to international fame by winning the Golden Ticket on the Kill Tony Podcast this spring.  He is beloved. Marty stopped by Granpa´s recently and no one was surprised he brought down the house. You can buy his stress squish frogs at Salty not Sweet Lakewood or suscribe to his socials to help fund the laughs and the meds!
